How to Remove or Disable OneDrive from windows 8.1?

Remove OneDrive from Your Computer

1.Disable SkyDrive Everywhere (Home Edition)

Windows home edition don’t have the group policy which makes it a lot easier than the registry editor. If you are a pro user just skip down further and read the instructions. For others here you go.

If you guys want to get rid of SkyDrive completely, you have to use the group policy to remove it. This will get you rid of it from everywhere of your system though, it is including the Metro apps.
You can launch the Group Policy Editor only by pressing the Windows key and R simultaneously, typing gpedit.msc and hitting the Enter.

Step 1. Navigate to Computer Configuration
Step 2. Administrative Templates
Step 3. Windows Components
Step 4. SkyDrive
Step 5. And then double click the entry button to prevent the usage of SkyDrive folder for all file storage to the right.
You can see the immediate changes which is your Skydrive icon is just simply disappear from your explorer right away.

3.Remove it from the Explorer Side Panel

Also you can remove the Skydrive from the side panel for which you have to use the registry editor to remove the library that let you have that features.
